My husband surprised me with another antique!!

He brought home an antique from a farm auction today.  He knows I really want an old platform scale, with a wood platform.  His parents have a beautiful one that I drool over whenever I am there.  When he called me and told me he bought one, I was a little scared.  Around here, these things go for a pretty penny and I knew that was not in the budget at this time.  But this one was in the budget because he got it for $15.  It needs a little cleaning, painting, some fabricating, and some TLC.  I love it already though.  It's dated 1905.  He's getting pretty good at this.

I also have forgotten to mention something.  Heather and I have entered our selling blog in a contest here on the web.  It is being put on by the Sunburnt Cow Handmade Shop.  The rest of the contestants are very talented.  Wish us luck!!!!

    Oh my girl... okay, I am extremely jealous right now! I WANT ONE OF THOSE! I have seen them made into awesome coffee tables. They can't be found around here. I found a couple in another state that were $500 and $800! Yours is awesome and will clean up mighty nice! Hubby did awesome!
