Bathroom redo, but I need your help!

I have been given the go ahead to redo the bathroom!!!  I really don't need the go ahead, but it's always better when the significant other is on board.  My bathroom is very bright.  White trim, off white tile floor, chrome fixtures and light green/blue walls.  It is fresh and clean looking, but doesn't really "go" with the rest of the house.  It takes me a long time to decide on wall colours, because once it's up, it's going to be a while before I'm going to feel like painting it again.

Here's where you come in.  I love looking into peoples homes to get inspiration.  If you want to show off your prim powder room, and inspire me in the process, take pictures of your bathrooms, post them on your blog and link up to them here.  It may just help out other people in the process too.  I can't wait to see!!!

*for the record, I did not want this next paragraph in there, but can not, for the life of me delete it! Ugh!

  2. My bathroom is the only room not prim in the house. When we redid it a few years ago it was so tiny and my husband knocked out walls and doubled the size.I was so happy with the extra space I decided to leave it simple, open and fresh.Unlike the rest of the house LoL..Warm Blessings!~Amy

  3. Splendid idea Lori! Can't wait to see the responses. I, too, am trying to take on a bath redo. Unfortunately, it's a teeny, tiny, space, and the original owners of the house left a horrid legacy behind...a fleshy/pinky/orangey countertop that will be a major redo to take out. Plus, there's tons of wood - the closet door, the vanity, the trim around the window - even the ceiling. Yikes - wish I could find a good "prim" interior decorator! Keep us posted on your progress!

  4. Girl, I know what you mean! It took me 3 years to paint my dining room walls and I already knew I wanted them to be dark red. I finally did it this past week and I LOVE it! Now I wish I hadn't of waited so long, lol!

On the main floor in my half-bath I have decorated it in a vintage sewing theme with notions and such that belonged to the women in my family. It was fun and I am reminded of those great women every single time I walk in there.
